As an Economics major graduating in the spring of 2005, I applied to the Graduate program at Croda and after the assessment, I realised Croda was the only place I wanted to work. I was lucky enough to get hired and so began my career at Croda. I started in the Finance department at Mill Hall.
As a Graduate Trainee I worked in Logistics; my main project was to look at logistical improvements. I feel this role allowed me to contribute towards the establishment of regularly used reports that are ingrained in Croda today.
My next role was at Delaware working with Customer Care and the SAP integration team. Here I had day to day interaction with the customer base where I learned about the integral role that Customer Care plays within the business.
In 2006 I began working in the Export sales department. I learnt a lot of new skills in this role where I worked with different divisions and markets.
In Spring 2008 I started worked in the Health Care team, which brought all my previous experience together. I gained a lot of customer experience as well as establishing a good network in Croda.
Whilst working in Health Care I decided that I would like my next career move to be in Sales and an opportunity arose within our Canadian division as a General Sales Manager. I had spent the previous 5 years in Health care so I welcomed the challenge of overseeing the portfolio in Canada.
In 2016 I took on a new role in the Personal Care team where I now oversee Personal Care Sales for Eastern US and Canada and I am looking forward to continuing my Croda education.
